Shibley`s Soft and Hard Ice CRM in Alton Bay

People were super nice and ice cream was good, but disappointed and a little disturbed that no one working there was wearing a mask. Not safe for anyone that way.

Good food. Nice dockside view of Alton Bay. Free parking. Three ice cream shops within a short walk.

Both hard and soft serve, yummy! Lots of flavor choices, hot food too. Love this place on beautiful Alton Bay.

Was a nice place. Slightly expensive but the food was good. There wasn't too much of a wait and the outdoor seating was nice.

Fish sandwich tasted great, but very small in size. Have had elsewhere on bulkier not hamburger bun.

Fast food, snack bar style food across from the lake. Order outdoors and take your food to eat outside. That's it. A simple no frills place to grab a burger or a dog and some junk food. It is what it is you should not be expecting high quality food and 5 star dining here so I do not understand some of the other reviews but its a snack bar and that's all.

I feel at home at this old-fashioned lakeside place.The food is tasty and the right temperature. Frappes ( Shakes to most of you) are Good sized. The line moves well. Picnic tables are available. Public bathrooms are nearby.

Food was ok, and the ice cream was very good. However, found it very disconcerting that no one, including the staff, was masked, nor did anyone observe social distancing protocol! Coming from New York, where everyone is hyper vigilant, this scene was particularly disturbing! Will not go back! I am adding this note, as Shibley’s responded that all of their staff is properly masked and that they adhere to social distancing policy. Sorry Shibley’s, but I was there on July 6, 2020 at 6:30 P.M., and the only people masked besides myself were a family of 4 that saw the scene at Shibley’s and got back in their car and took off. Saying that you adhere to a policy and actually doing it are two different things.

One of the best steak and cheese I've ever had, ice cream is a decent size for the price. Would totally go again when in the area

Ahh, food is average. Lousy for Lake Winny. People running it are very strange. I had to 'tell off the owner. Very lousy vibe. + I lived there for 2 summers, better ice cream across the street and better food a block down at clam place

We were here last week, the staff are friendly and polite. Great for quick eats and tasty soft serve and burgers

So So Good!! We showed up anout a half hour before closing and the staff was so friendly and the food was terrific. Hot and fresh. We had the fried seafood platter and the fried clams. Definitely would come here again
